Greenville, NC – YouTuber MrBeast has once again found himself at the center of controversy. This time, it’s for his latest philanthropic endeavor – helping 1000 people go blind.
It all started when MrBeast announced on his YouTube channel that he wanted to balance out his previous act of kindness, where he helped 1000 blind people see. “The world was outraged when I helped 1,000 blind people see for the first time. I’ve listened, I’ve learned and I will undo the harm I have caused,” said Mr. Beast in a recent video.
Fans lined up outside MrBeast’s headquarters hoping for a chance to be blinded by the Internet star. “I just want to be part of something bigger,” said 12-year-old Hannah Worth. “Everyone will know who I am after this! I can’t wait to see how this turns out for me.”
Volunteers will be blinded by getting hot grease from a MrBeast Burger dripped into their eyes. If that doesn’t do the trick then a vat of acid sits at the ready.
“Let this be a lesson to all of you out there that complain about my philanthropic ventures. If you bitch about me giving people homes, I can just as easily make people homeless. If you whine about me giving school supplies to kids in need, I can just as easily arm them with AK47s,” said the video star.
The announcement was met with swift backlash from the public, with many calling the move “insane” and “cruel.” “Why would anyone want to go blind? This is just sick,” commented one user on Twitter.
America remains in the dark about what the YouTube sensation will do next, but for at least 1,000 people they won’t see it coming.
