Microsoft Stopping Development On DirectX

Jeffro1001 writes "According to a story on CNET Microsoft announced today that they are stopping development on DirectX. I know most Slashdotters hate MS, but DirectX is used by a lot of CEOs who'll have to saerch for an alternative. Might be a good opportunity for developers of sendmail to step in adn fill the void."
