BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

One site thought Michael Bay really was going to blow up the Gulf of Mexico like in our story...

Even though I can't figure out how they would do that, what kind of explosion it could be and what would the after effects be?

Be sure to click through for some of the hilarious comments on that page.

Our story about the The Saboteur 2 game idea is popular on StumbleUpon.com so it gets quite a few BBelievers in the comments...

From the comments: is this true??? if it is then i dont really care about the story as long as its a sequel to the best game ever. The first ones story sounds better than that.

And...

I can't wait for the published version... and i think THE SABOTEUR 2 is better than before.. i'm afiq from Malaysia.. i hope will export to the Malaysia earlier..

I wrote a Geek Soup story about a geek avoiding fixing his mom's computer on Mother's Day, and people were a bit upset about the geek in the fictional story...

From the Comments: It was MOTHER'S DAY, for pete's sake! Quit being so ungrateful, they spent a bundle raising you.

More people found my story about the Dexter video game for the
Wii
...

From the Comments: when is the game coming out?

Our story about the new DRM from Ubisoft brought out the BBelievers as well...

From the Comments: "Let's see pirates break this[...]" Instead of going around game-breaking DRM, they'll get into the business of forging these 'licenses' that get you in. Or, perhaps they will in one of their gaming sessions at the center, explore what the computer is doing and get around it by emulating the necessary environment conditions on a home pc. plenty of ways to break it. hack the network and use your pc like one of their terminals.

Plus more in the comments.

I found a couple BBelievers on Twitter...

The quotes in the second paragraph must be fake. Right?http://is.gd/cdNpH

WTH! Chris Capossela talking like that! not sure if true RT @fa10z: Microsoft Announces Office 2010 Will B Last Version http://bit.ly/bwkmKj

Yes, I only put the fake quotes in the 2nd paragraph of stories.

That's all for today. Stay geeky!
