Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.
BBelievers
Someone at Microsoft must read BBspot, after we ran our story about Windows Vista SP1 downgrading people to XP , the Internet gets flooded with stories about companies downgrading people to XP. Thanks to everyone who wrote in with links. There were still a few BBelievers trickling in for that story this week...
What makes it even funnier is the end result is the customer is still on XP but they have paid for Vista so MS are laughing again.
No what makes it funnier is you BBelieving it.
If this is true - click here - then many satisfied Vista users are going to be a bit miffed, unless they forego this service pack, that is. I wondered if the Forum Editor had any news on this surprising turn-around.
And...
I have a feeling many are going to be pissed off about this, I know I already am because I actually LIKE Vista and don't want to go back to XP!
The few, the proud, the people like actually like Vista.
Now here's someone who found BBspot through a search on aol.com, how do I know he found it that way? You read this email and come up with a better explanation...

Your review of Resident Evil: Extinction was not only biased, but it was illogical and based on personal feelings of a franchise that has been flammed by many fanboys and yuppie critics. You have not Seen the film, yet you can still present a review? Obviously your review is not a credible source and should be thrown out in the trash w/ 'Last Night's Take Out" and "Used Condoms"...Mr. Briggs, if you cant submit a solid review of a film w/ out leaving your childish feelings aside, then finish masturbating on your Spielberg films and quit wasting my valuable time...As they say, "Don't quit you day job." This review thing ISNT for you.
I told that he was too late. I already quit my day job. I'm sure that made his day.
The Web Cam

Subject: BBspot Webcam- fingers??
To: briggsb@bbspot.com
Okay, So I'Ve been frequenting your site every day for 3 or so years now, & every once in a while I pop over to your webcam. I like the improvements to the Basement & all but I've noticed a trend about you & I have a question. Why are you always sniffing your fingers???
I have included some images I saved from your site, I thought you might enjoy them.
Seven pictures from different days were attached to the email. I'll just post one here to give you an idea.
I'm not sure why I put my finger on my lip, but I'm more concerned with someone actually noticing it. I thought Mrs. BBspot and my mom were the only ones to visit the Web cam page.
