BBspot Mailbag

Now you too can enjoy my Inbox without the annoying spam. Every week I get some amazing e-mail. Some amazing because of the sheer cluelessness of the sender, some because of the time and energy that went into crafting them and some are just simply amazing.

Subject: please put me in contact with Mr Esenam Ayele if offer still stands

Please let me know if the give away offer still stands. If the offer is genuine I have a genuine use for his kind assistance.I am a family man with 12 children and need assistance to fund a small business venture to provide a sound income for my family.I could certainly use financial assistance to get back on our feet,I am currently in debt and have no reliable transport and no means to remedy our current problems

Twelve children? How about you start by not having any more children.

I don't think this story has ever captured a BBeliever before ...

Subject: question?

Hello.

My names is Juan Carlos.
I came across this article " Researches Determine Plants can Feel Pain, Vegetarians Eye Rocks" at BBspot Thursday, August 7 12:01 AM EDT.

I looked up at Michigan State University website, and they don't seem to have reference to that study.

Would you mind giving me an e-mail so I can get in touch with the researches?,

I will REALLY appreciated any information you can give me.

I am researching about Vegetarianism, and this will help me a lot.

Thanks in advance.

You need to use sites other than BBspot to complete your research.

Ultracrappy

One reader writes in with more evidence that Ultraviolet being a terrible trailer...

Subject: Right on with the Ultraviolet review

You know the first time I saw the trailer on TV for Ultraviolet I kept thinking you were going to tear it apart. It is awful. But the one thing you missed was the fact it used not one, but two songs from other movies. It used a song from the Matrix and then one from Electra. I can half understanding wanting to use music from a successful movie that they are ripping off, but from Electra too? That's a warning that it should only be watched once it's on cable and your only viewing choices are that or a Van Damm movie.

Keep up the good work!

I knew the songs sounded familiar, but when you watch as many trailers as I do it's hard to remember.

Unlikely Olympic Events

One reader writes in more unlikely winter Olympic events for our Top 11 list...

While waiting for Finnish Sauna Marathon to become an olympic event you can participate in the World Championships:

The first Sauna Bathing World championships were organized in 1999...

Other Finnish sports that probably will never be olympic events:
1. Swamp Soccer WC
2. Wife-carrying WC
3. Winter swimming WC
(And many many other odd sports)

Not much to do in Finland, eh?

That's all for this week!
